K'gari (Fraser Island) Queensland, May 2023

We visited K'gari / Fraser Island in May and, even though it rained every day and night for us, we absolutely loved it! We expected beaches and sand dunes on the largest sand island in the world, but we discovered so much more than that.

We were really surprised by the landscape: so what did we see? Would we see any dingoes? You'll have to watch to find out...

* This amazing place was previously known as Fraser Island, but officially reverted to K'gari, its traditional name, in June. We referred to the island throughout our video as Fraser Island as we were there before the name changed.
K'gari is pronounced "gari" - the 'K' is silent.
