The national curriculum, as it openly states, implements the principles and descriptors of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: Learning, Teaching, Assessment (CEFR). In this video, Prof. Dr. Aydan Ersöz explains what CEFR is and how it has changed what and how we should teach. She also gives examples from the syllabuses and commonly used coursebooks.
