From the stunning National Trust area of Cregennan Lakes to a morning hike up to the Nantcol Waterfalls and on to the blessed cool caverns of the Llanfair Slate mines (dog friendly) this was definitely an epic experience and not one to be missed.
Cregennan Lakes is great for fishing and floating or paddleboarding, and fabulous place to cool off on a hot day and if you want air conditioning, then delving into the history and darkness of the slate mine will keep you cool even on the hottest days.
