Toulouse Street - Doobie Brothers Cover

Cover of the Doobie Brothers Song - Toulouse Street featuring my wife Lauri on the Flute. The guitar parts are my own arrangement/interpretation of the song. The tuning is EADGBD. Pat Simmons used that tuning but put a capo on the 3rd fret, I'm playing it without the capo but in the same key, which makes it sound a tad different but still keeps that hauntingly beautiful feel that defines the song. The vocals and flute we tried to match the original as closely as possible. The bass loosely matches the original. I am new to playing bass so I couldn't get fancy. The vocal harmony in this song is very unique and took me a bit to figure it out. This is my wife's first appearance in one of my videos. There are more songs we do together and we will likely do some more videos in the future. It's a fun artistic hobby.
