Here's the next episode of Chordplay with The Chords of Alice In Chains.
Jerry Cantrell from Alice In Chains is a legendary guitarist on the scene and has been creating his own brand of rock and grungy riffs with the band since 1987.

Alice In Chains exploded in popularity in the early stages of the "Alternative Revolution" and with the help of their single 'Max In The Box' (along with the gothic/dark music video), they appeared on the scene and created a huge splash during their early 1990's arrival.

This lesson takes a look at a number of interesting and unusual chord-based ideas and riffs heard in Alice In Chains music and will surely supply you with some new ideas and moves to play around with. This includes the use of open tunings, dissonant chords, twisted intervals, applying bending/vibrato to chords, and much more.
