How to make red curry pork ribs

This type of red curry is very popular in Cambodia and it is our traditional Khmer curry. But in this video I can show you the short cut by using Thai Red Curry paste. It’s us fast because you don’t have to smash the curry paste like old traditional way. The colour is good and the taste is pretty good! Try it you will like it.

Just make small half of the ingredients if this is too much for you and your love ones 💕

✔️ Ingredients and Recipe

📌 Part 1 - cooking pork ribs to get flavour and tender
▪️ Cooking Oil - 3 Tbsp
▪️ Diced Onion and Shallots - 1/2 Cup
▪️ Coconut Milk - 1 Cans ( 400ml )
▪️ Red Curry Paste - 3 full Tbsp
▪️ Shrimp Paste - 1 Tbsp
▪️ Pork Ribs - 1 Kg
▪️ GALANGA - 4 thick slices
▪️ Kafirr Lime Leaf - 7x
▪️ Salt - 1/2 Tbsp
▪️ Sugar - 3 Tbsp ( in total 5 Tbsp )
▪️ Fish Sauce - 2 Tbsp
▪️ MSG - 1 Tsp

- cook pork ribs about 5-6 minutes on medium heat so pork rib can have good flavour - often stir to watch if there is a lot of liquid still. If less liquid you can start to go to Part 2.

📌 Part 2 - Add water and other ingredients
▪️ Water - 4L
▪️ Salt - 1 Tbsp
▪️ Sugar - 2 Tbsp
▪️ Fish Sauce - 4 Tbsp

📌 Part 3 - Add Potatoes and follow by other vegetables with last can of coconut milk

▪️ Potatoes - 3 large ( cut in about 1 inch cubes )
▪️ Onions - 2 Large
▪️ Long Beans - 200g
▪️ Eggplant - 3x

- Please watch video for full detail instructions on when to add certain ingredients
- Pork ribs boiled it out 10 mins first with 2L of water and 1 Tbsp of salt to get rid of the blood and smell

📌 with this type of red curry soup, you can have it with Fine Rice Vermicelli noodles and fresh vegetables like cucumber, bean sprouts and mints
