Humboldt is Home

Описание к видео Humboldt is Home

Stories and music from the frontlines of Humboldt County's housing crisis.

Wondering what you can do to help?

-Reflect upon the challenges posed by a "Not in my back yard (NIMBY)" attitude, and ask yourself: If given the opportunity, would you welcome people to come live in tiny homes and other affordable housing in your neighborhood?
-Donate to charitable causes (St. Vincent De Paul, The Betty Kwan Chinn Homeless Foundation, Arcata House Partnership, etc.).
-Voice support for tiny home villages and authorized encampments.
-Voice support for the County's Safe Parking-Safe Shelter Pilot program.
-Take the time to meet members of our community who are experiencing homelessness; listening to somebody's story can be a very powerful gesture of solidarity and empathy.
