Vanderbilt Health: Acoustic Neuroma Surgery Patient Rebecca

Symptoms started with ringing in her ears, dizziness, migraines and imbalance. Rock climber Rebecca Tenoschok’s decided to get an MRI, which confirmed an acoustic neuroma tumor near her brain stem.

Rebecca put her trust in the experts at Vanderbilt Health. She feels that the care team paid attention and listened to her concerns. It spoke volumes. Rebecca and her team decided on surgery, which included the preservation of her cochlear nerve, meaning Rebecca is eligible for a cochlear implant that can restore hearing.
