Portable GENERATOR Connection for BOATS - Easy SETUP DIY

In this video we show you how we installed our Portable GENERATOR Connection for BOATS, easy DIY setup and tie-down on our Bayliner 285. We used a portable 2500 watt inverter generator to power up our boat when we stay overnight on the water. Our Westinghouse 2500 watt portable generator has worked perfectly to power up our, marine A/C, Stove, Microwave, Ice Maker, and Expresso Machine with no problems. We also show you what we used to tie down the portable generator and keep it safe, and more importantly be sure to use one or more carbon monoxide alarms on or in your boat's cabin depending on boat size.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This is how we did our setup, but you should check and research the proper way and location to have adequate ventilation to avoid carbon monoxide poisoning before installing it on your boat. Carbon monoxide is odorless, and can cause injury and even death if not using proper procedures. See your generators manufacturer recommendations and instructions, and do your own research before installing on your boat.
