ACID STAINING the CONCRETE Floor of the Barndominium

Concrete Acid Stain is A LOT of work, but very economical for a great looking finished concrete floor. We spent less than $600 for the 640 square feet of the barndominium first floor. That's less than $1 a square foot!! We used the Eagle brand concrete acid stain bought on Home Depot.com and used the deliver to store method with curb side pick up (during COVID-19).

I take you through all the steps it took to get a good looking stained concrete floor. I also reveal some great learning I had while making a few mistakes.

Key Points:
Wash, Clean, Rinse, Wash the concrete again and again. Super important
Etch it, do not skip this part. Do not use Muriatic acid as this is too harsh.
Definitely do a test spot to make sure it is working as expected and looks right
Take your time and do it right. No shortcuts. It is going to take days to go through every steps with the proper drying time between steps..
Let the acid do its job. Let the sealer and polish do their job. The initial color will not be the expected color. Finish all the steps.
