Japonica shrimp (Japonica garnaal)

The amano shrimp or Japonica shrimp is a freshwater shrimp from the Atyidae family. The scientific name of the species was first validly published in 1860 by William Stimpson. The shrimp is originally from Japan.

De amanogarnaal of Japonica garnaal is een zoetwatergarnaal uit de familie van de Atyidae. De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1860 door William Stimpson. De garnaal komt oorspronkelijk uit Japan.
