Oysters have been cultivated in the seabed of Mali Ston bay since ancient times and consumed in honour of Aphrodite, the goddess of beauty, said to have been born from a shell.

Boarding the Bota Šare oyster boat you are in for not only a culinary experience but also a nature and cultural experience.

You will be hosted by one of the family that have grown oysters for generations in the bay and since 1980, have run the now famous family restaurant Bota Šare, located on the waterfront in Mali Ston.

You will learn the process of cultivating and gathering oysters and mussels in the bay. Interesting fact, the process of cultivating oysters takes two long years, meaning on this tour you get to indulge in the juiciest, freshest oysters from birth to maturity.

Of course your tour would not be complete without local wine and alcohol, surrounded by nature.
