BB2 ~ Safety & Summer Upgrades - sv Sea Odyssey - Fountaine Pajot, Saba 50

Step by step we are making Sea Odyssey (Fountaine Pajot, Saba 50, catamaran) our cozy sailing home. This has been a summer of upgrades & warranty issues and for-the-better maintenance upgrades.

In this video, part one, we pick up from our last video when we were hauled out in Antalya, Turkey, to begin some boat work but not before we catch you up on all the upgrades we did in Finike before we left.

We find Antalya Gemi in Finike really shines in stainless steel, carpentry, and upholstery. Here is a list of what we had done in Finike. As you will find in the video, the craftsmanship is great. We are very happy.

Brow handrails
Rub rails on brow corners
Bow steps leading to mast
Mast handrail
Helm to cockpit grab bar
Teak flybridge cubby lid
Teak refit for dolphin seats and anchor locker
Sunshade canopy
Line bag
Screens for door and windows
Textilene for windows
Dinghy cover and pads
Couch cushion

This doesn't include all the upgrades we did, however. In just this video, we also upgraded our anchor alarm, added leg straps to the pfds and tested the mobs, added a freezer fan and hall hangers.
