🇭🇹【4K】Taking a walk through a Busy Waterside Market in Cap Haitien | Streets of Haiti 2022

After eating some food that we got on the ride back from Milot, we took a walk through Weeky Mans neighborhood until we reached the highway, Route Nationale 3 (RN-3). We crossed over the highway and what I saw blew my mind. I couldn't believe the sheer amount of trash I saw on the water. As beautiful as Cap Haitien is, this was a tragic eye sore. Something really needs to be done about it. I was told the former president, who was from Cap Haitien, had plans on remediating the trash issue in the city, before he was assasintated. I really someone in or outside government is working on a viable solution. I cut the camera off at this point because there's no point in filming literal trash... So we kept on walking the waterfront and eventually walked into a really large market. They were selling mostly perishable goods at this market. There was a lot of activity here, lots of people moving around. We walked through the market, over the bridge to Cap Haitien Boulevard and then caught a trike back to the hotel.
