International Organ Trafficking Racket: 2 Accused Arrested, NIA To Take Over Probe

The Ernakulam Rural Police Special Investigation Team (SIT) has arrested another suspect in an international organ trafficking racket. Previously, Sabith Naseer, a Kerala native, was detained at Cochin International Airport for allegedly transporting 20 people from India to Iran to sell their kidneys. Sabith, now in judicial custody, admitted to earning Rs 5 lakh per donor and paying them between Rs 5 to Rs 10 lakh.
