Описание к видео British Wildlife Documentary: The Lost Rainforest of Dartmoor National Park

This film showcases one of the few remaining Atlantic Oak Rainforests of Britain and the wildlife can be found there.

In this short film, we explore Dartmoor National Park and specifically an area known as Wistman's Wood - a fragment of an ancient British rainforest lost in time. This rainforest is home to rare lichens and moss and also to birds such as Jays, Chaffinches, Stonechats & Kingfishers.

This short British wildlife documentary also covers other stunning locations inside Dartmoor National Park, such as the Haytor Rocks and the wildlife found along the River Dart.

We also look at the iconic and magnificent Dartmoor Ponies, an ancient breed that has inhabited Dartmoor National Park for over 4,000 years.

To note, some shots of the birds were filmed in southern England/areas surrounding Dartmoor National Park.
