Oklahoma-born Wes Studi has won acclaim for his portrayal of American Indians in dozens of films over more than two decades.
The actor is from from Nofire Hollow, near Tahlequah.
He has appeared in such iconic films as "Dances with Wolves", "Geronimo", and "last of the Mohicans".
This week, Studi was featured as part of the Oklahoma history center's newest exhibit, "Oklahoma at the movies".
Studi visited with us about his film career, and the difficulties faced by American Indians finding work on the big screen.
