Mark Finan - Living with Psoriatic Arthritis

Описание к видео Mark Finan - Living with Psoriatic Arthritis

Mark Finan first noticed there was something wrong when he was 33 and started experiencing pins and needles, stillness in his joints, aches and pains. When a GP noticed that his finger nails were discoloured, he sent Mark for tests which led to a diagnosis of psoriatic arthritis (PsA).

For Mark, one of the major issues with psoriatic arthritis is fatigue, which he describes as being "like a silent assassin in that you just do not know when it's going to hit you".

Exercise - and particularly, walking - is one of the primary ways that Mark keeps well. "Because there is no cure," he says, "it's all about improving your quality of life."
