Описание к видео Making of Rosogolla in Bengal || রসগোল্লা তৈরীর পদ্ধতি || 2018

Rosogolla is the pride of Bengal. It is a ‘Chhana’ or cottage cheese based sweet and is gaining popularity across the globe. Reportedly, the sweet was invented by Shri Nobin Chandra Das in 1868. Again, some will say that Bagbazar’s Bhola Moira (sweet makers are known as Moira in Bengali) was the first to make Rosogolla. Several other stories of Rosogolla’s invention are also present and is hotly debated. We don’t want to debate on its origin and would rather love to have a plate of all its variations. We went to Sujoti Mistanna Bhander in Kalyani to learn the process of Rosogolla making. Watch the video to learn how to prepare this famous Bengali sweet.
