Nanded. A beautiful city situated on the banks of the Godavari near the Maharashtra-Telangana border. Formerly it was in Nizam's state. Nanded was included in the new Hyderabad State after the police action in the Hyderabad Liberation War and later came to Maharashtra in the language-wise provincial structure.
