According to a Brazillian study in 2012, the ability to get up off of the floor without using your hands may be an indicator of a lower biological age. Meaning maybe you'll live longer.

In reality, measuring your true biological age is much more complicated and would require lab testing. That said, the ability to get off the floor gracefully is a good indicator of core stability, leg strength, hip mobility, and overall balance and agility. These are well-known as some of the most important things to improve longevity.
