Synopsis
In this engaging drama, Azami Onijuro, a former covert spy for the shogunate turned ronin, traverses the Kiso Highway with his carefree ronin companion. Upon reaching the Echizen Domain, they meet Osode, a woman seeking Onijuro's exceptional skills for a journey to Owari. Osode, hailing from a prominent family in the Katsuyama Domain, possesses a crucial letter sealed in blood. This letter reveals a treacherous plot to assassinate her domain's lord, orchestrated by the Deputy Chief and the lord's younger brother. As Onijuro and his group agree to help, they quickly find themselves pursued by the chief retainer's top enforcer.

This special drama, which aired on TV Asahi on March 30, 1992, features Hiroshi Tachi, renowned for his comedic roles, showcasing his talent in portraying eccentric characters. Teamed with Jun Inoue, celebrated for his comedic prowess, their dynamic forms an exceptionally entertaining and unconventional duo.
