DATES & NUTS HALWA

⭕Dates halwa is a natural sweet made with ghee ,cashews, milk and flavoured with cardamom .Which is delicious and can be served to any for instant energy.
⭕Dates are a good source of various vitamins and minerals, energy, and fiber. It also contains calcium, iron, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium and zinc. It is also dubbed as the healthier substitute for sugar, as unlike sugar it does not contribute empty calories.
⭕For all mothers,out there I suggest to Eat and Give your Kids Dates,to build a strong immune system. This dates halwa recipe is for those ,who doesn’t like to eat dates on its own.

✳️A easy halwa recipe made with minimal ingredients yet tastes delicious.
✴️If you like dates then this halwa is a must try for you. And I used Black dates in this recipe.

🔴INGREDIENTS:
A Bowl full of dates کھجوریں
3/4 Cardamom الائچی
1 cup  Semolina  سوجی
Handfull of Almonds بادام
Handfull of Cashew کاجو
2 Tbsp walNut اخروٹ
Handfull of Pistachio پستہ
2 cups Milk
1 cup Desi Ghee

🔴Instructions:
🔸Deseed dates if you have seeds. and transfer to a blender directly.
🔸I used soft BLACK DATES, SO no need to soak in water or milk.
🔸Now transfer it to a mixer jar, add milk and grind it to a fine paste.
🔸To begin making the Date Nuts Halwa Recipe, crushsd the nuts in the chopper to get roughly chopped mixture. Keep the nuts mixture aside.
🔸Put all the dates puree in a bowl and set aside .
🔸Take a non-stick pan, heat 1 cup desi ghee, add 3 to 4 Cardamom.
🔸Add 1 Cup Semolina (suji). Keep cooking till it starts to change to light brown color and becomes slightly thick.
🔸Now add blended dates paste and cook for 8 to 10 minutes , stir on a low flame and mix using Spatula and when the halwa starts to stick.
🔸Add the nuts mixture to the pan. Saute the dry fruit date halwa until it gets well combined for 4 to 5 minutes. Keep stirring the halwa every couple of minutes until the mixture comes away from the sides of the pan.
🔸At one stage it will stop absorbing and will let out ghee at the edges as you can see. The halwa will start to form a ball like and will start to leave ghee.Turn off the heat.
Add 1 tsp of Ghee/Oil and fry all nuts till golden brown.Add it to the halwa.Give a quick stir and switch off.

FINALLY, enjoy date halwa or store in the refrigerator and enjoy for a week.
