Hey everyone, hope you're all doing well and gearing up nicely for the upcoming paper. Feeling confident? Awesome! So, today we're diving into another paper, specifically Computer Science Paper 1, Computer Systems 0478, from February-March 2023. It's a 1 hour 45 minutes affair, no extra materials required, just a dark blue or black pen (and an H pencil for diagrams if necessary). Remember to fill in your details at the top of the page, and let's get into it.

Question 1 is all about malware, particularly spyware. It's a simple pick-the-right-definition task. Easy peasy, just avoid the distractors.

Moving on to Question 2, where we need to identify and describe two other examples of malware. Think virus, worm, adware, ransomware—just stay away from the private stuff.

Question 3 delves into the similarities and differences between proxy servers and firewalls. Two birds with one stone, identify two similarities and one difference. Got it?

Now, onto Question 4, where we need to decide between using a high-level or low-level language to develop a program for a new 3D interactive computer game. Choose wisely and justify your choice—high-level for ease and efficiency, or low-level for more memory efficiency?

Part B of Question 4 asks about compilers and interpreters. If you went with a compiler, explain how it works; if you opted for an interpreter, do the same. Don't forget the nitty-gritty details.

Lastly, Question 5 involves some unit conversions for data storage. Remember your basics from bits to bytes to kilobytes to gigabytes and beyond. Divide or multiply as needed, and you're good to go.

It's exciting to see how these concepts come together to shape our digital world and facilitate tasks like data storage, communication, and problem-solving.
