Treatment of cancerous eyelid growth with Diode laser - Episode 44

Citra had an eyelid tumor which was previously operated by her highly vigilant primary vet but the histopathology came back as Basal cell carcinoma, a cancerous growth. After the first surgery the tumor returned within a month.

In today's procedure, we're debulking the tumour and using PDT (photodynamic therapy) which includes specialized green dye being activated with diode laser, in turn destroying the cancerous cells in the vicinity. Stay tuned for the outcome!
