LIVING WATER WAYSIDE CHAPEL (Niagara on the Lake) Canada's smallest church was built in 1964 by the Christian Reformed Church. It is the smallest church in Canada and is also claimed by some to be the smallest church in the world. No bigger than a one-car garage, it has become a destination for visitors who are encouraged to stop for photographs and prayers.
NIAGARA-ON-THE-LAKE: Often described as the prettiest town in Ontario, Niagara-on-the-Lake is a charming 19th-century village in the heart of Ontario Wine Country just beyond Niagara Falls on the shore of Lake Ontario. The Heritage District of Niagara on the Lake has an interesting history. Taking a stroll down tree-lined Queen Street in Niagara-on-the-Lake is like stepping back in time. It's historic buildings, unique shops, restaurants, and theater draws many visitors each year
BUDAPEST BAKESHOP CHIMNEY CAKES: Chimney Cakes, known as Kürtőskalács in Hungary, are long ribbons of a sweet yeast dough that are wrapped around a specialized baking dowel then placed in a rotisserie-style oven. The baking dowel is removed once the chimney comes out of the oven, leaving a golden-brown cake that is smoking like a chimney. Budapest Bakeshop prides itself in creating a unique food experience for its guests. Once you enter the bakeshop you immediately see all the preparation and baking front and center. Every single Chimney Cake is prepared from scratch each day. You can watch the different style of Chimneys spinning slowly in the ovens some with caramelizing sugar or some with melting cheese. Try a sweet or savory chimney for a unique food experience!
THE NIAGARA APOTHECARY: The Niagara Apothecary is an authentic museum restoration of a 1869 pharmacy as part of a practice that operated in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, from 1820 to 1964. Operating hours are noon to 6 p.m. daily, starting on May 11 until the Labor Day.
