I have wanted to build a casting / fishing deck for my boat for a long time now. I finally decided to go for it and wanted to film it in case some of you with open bow ski boats/runabouts are wanting to do it as well. I took it out for the first time and used it. It worked like a charm and we actually had two of us fishing off the front deck without any issues.

Materials/equipment used:

-1/2" sheet of plywood
-Olympic Waterguard clear wood sealer
-Home Depot carpet of your choice
-Materials to apply wood sealer
-Staple gun for carpet install
-Outdoor carpet adhesive
