Skradin is a small, romantic and dreamy town in the Dalmatian region of Croatia. It is located only about 19 km from Sibenik and lies directly on the river Krka. It is also called "The gateway to Krka National Park", is a protected monument and one of the oldest towns in the country.
The town serves as the entrance to the Krka National Park, which is especially attractive to tourists because of its many natural waterfalls and almost untouched nature. Excursion boats leave from here daily.
The picturesque scenery of the Mediterranean town with its narrow cobbled streets, historical buildings from the 17th and 18th centuries, the emerald green river Krka in front of the door and the forested mountains look particularly attractive to visitors. The town of Skradin has had a turbulent past through different eras and this is reflected in the architecture of the numerous buildings. Stroll through the town center and discover, for example, the Orthodox Church of St. Spiridon, the Church of God with the bell tower or the rectory.

Right at the entrance to the town is the information center about the National Park Krka. On the first floor there is a reception and a souvenir store and on the second floor there is a very informative exhibition about the park.
