Sawtooth Lake Hike - Is It Worth It? (4K)

Sawtooth Lake hike near Stanley, Idaho is one of the most popular hikes in the Sawtooth mountains. The Iron Creek trailhead is only 5.5 miles from the town of Stanley. The hike to Sawtooth Lake begins at Iron Creek trailhead and involves 4.6 miles to the lake with 1762 feet of elevation gain. This hike offers views of Alpine Lake, and beautiful Mt. Regan across Sawtooth lake. We believe the most scenic spot is on the small bluff a short distance to the left from the lake outlet.
