New Guitar Day! Finally picked up a Jackson Juggernaut HT7 in Matte Blue Frost after years of gassing after them. Happy to report that they are as sick as people claim. It has every modern feature you want out of a higher end 7 string guitar and its so much fun to play. This one even has a double signature on the back plate from Misha!

Right when I opened up the case, I knew I had to learn another classic Periphery song. I've never tried anything off of P2 and wanted to challenge myself.

Petrucci's solo kicked my ass for weeks and it still does. The playing in this cover is a product of slow increasing metronome practice. That quick sweep at the end still wakes me up at night. Hope I did the song justice.
