Lake Colorado City State Park

Lake Colorado City State Park is a decent sized Texas state park in the north west region of Texas. Lake Colorado City State Park is built on the southside of Lake Colorado City and is several miles south of Lake Colorado City.

Honestly it's a bit of a tongue twister to say that name over and over.

This State park is a park that has seen some better days, but due to a decrease in requirements for the water at Lake Colorado City the State Park has greatly diminished it's amount of visitors each year.

I often hear people asking where they could get last minute weekend reservations in Texas for camping and I now think of Lake Colorado City State Park. I'm pretty sure there is always a few campsites available here.
