Nunomo Qun MK2 is a tiny powerhouse - dawless jam

I was recently on holiday in Cornwall and took my Nunomo Qun mk2 with me to try and explore it a little more. While there I saw was inspired by the little streams and rivers that flow out across the rocks and sand, eventually joining the vast ocean. So I wanted to write something that starts as a trickle but gradually layers and builds to something more powerful, just as the little streams and rivers do, as they slowly carve their way through the rock on the way to the sea.

All of the sounds were created on the Qun, sequenced with its sequencer and layered up with its looper. Some of the sounds are samples that I recorded while on the trip using the onboard mic, then are processed through the Quns granular engine. There's the sound of my sister singing, the clang of a fruit bowl, a blown bottle. The drums were a break that I sliced using the new slice option in the granular mode, then programmed in the various patterns, making use of the time-stretching, onboard effects and parameter locks.
