Easy macrame coaster tutorial with a lot of tips to help you make a perfect round & flat spiral macrame coaster. You'll learn everything that you need to create your first beautiful coaster :) This tutorial is suitable for total beginner.

Instruction for string:
Type: Single strand / twisted 3mm cotton cord

*Based on the following coaster size:
Inner circle diameter (spiral): 11cm / 4"
Outer circle (with 3 cm / 1.2" fringe): 17cm / 6.7"
Total length: ~20m / 780"

*Cut the following length of string:
1 x 160cm / 63"
5 x 90cm / 35"
For the following ropes, cut double the length of the next 'lower cord'
-- Generally to keep the coaster neat & flat, we'll add 3 cords for each layer
-- Last layer: desired fringe length * 2 + 10 cm (E.g. Cut 16cm if you want 3cm fringe)
