The Chills 'PInk Frost' 21-9-18 By Roslyn Nijenhuis

Описание к видео The Chills 'PInk Frost' 21-9-18 By Roslyn Nijenhuis

A very pink light Martin Phillipps plays in hometown Dunedin. I captured the action on my trusty Canon 70 photographic camera. This is my first Chills video which I have posted in my The Chills playlist, on this my YouTube channel. Its in tribute to my companion of 17 years an Oriental Cat called 'Puck' who knew this song well. She died a few days ago so here's the first of many The Chills songs which Puck would view and enjoy with me. So here's to Puck! But now so sadly acknowledging the shocking sudden death last week of Mr Martin Phillips. I love this ending when Martin comments on his song by saying "This is one of our old ones." In my opinion ‘Pink Frost’ is still The Chills one the most famous songs and is at least partially responsible for the band’s longevity. So beautiful yet so haunting ,especially if you know the meaning behind this song.
Featuring James Dickson on bass, Erica Scally keys, guitar and violin, Todd Knudson drums, Oli Wilson keyboards, and of course the man himself, Martin Phillipps who is the instigator of Pink Frost lyrics and music.
Rest in Love Martin John James Phillipps

Lyrics of 'Pink Frost'
I want to stop my crying
I want to stop my crying
But she's lying there dying
How can I live when you see what I've done?
How can I live when you see what I've done?
What can I do if she dies?
What can I do if she dies?
What can I do if she's lost?
Just the thought fills my heart with Pink Frost
I thought I was dreaming -
So I didn't heed her screaming
I'm so scared
I'm so scared
She won't move and I'm holding her head
She won't move and I'm holding her head
She's lost...Bye Bye Bye
She's lost...Bye Bye Bye
She's lost...Bye Bye Bye
Pink frost...Bye Bye Bye
I'm really not lying
I'm so scared
I'll have to stop my crying
Now she's dead
What can I do if she dies?
What can I do if she dies?
What can I do if she's lost?
Just the thought fills my heart with Pink Frost
(Oh no!)
