Mariéme will share her life story and talk about how she is accelerating access for girls and disrupting Africa’s tech industry by giving the marginalised communities a voice. She will talk about iamtheCODE, the fastest growing movement in the world pushing for STEM education. Named on the Powerlist2017 of Britain’s 100 most influential people of African and African Caribbean Heritage, Mariéme Jamme is a Senegalese-born British businesswoman in technology. Often called the diplomat of technology, Mariéme was also named twice in 2014 and in 2016 as one of the 100 most influential Africans by the African Business Magazine and as 2012 Forbes 20 youngest powerful women in Africa.

Mariéme’s goal is to empower 1 million young women and girls globally to become coders by 2030 and to align with the United Nations 2030 Agenda.
