This was suppose to be a Foma Ortho review...

Being a part-time YouTube photographer is sometimes a bit of a struggle.
This was supposed to be an easy-to-make film review video about Foma Ortho. I did shoot some Foma Ortho with my Hasselblad, but I can't call it a review. In the end, this is mostly a video of a bearded guy taking photographs with Foma Ortho.

Foma Ortho is a cool orthographic film which is kinda old-school. Before the rise of panchromatic film, orthographic film was the norm. Way before my time. The benefit and drawback of ortho-film is that it's non-sensitive to some of the red-spectrum (compared to panchromatic). This is actually quite a nice effect for landscape photography. When I got back into film photography, the only available ortho-film used to be Ilford Ortho Plus. However, things have changed, and Foma has since brought out Foma Ortho 400 in 120-film. How cool! And I was itching to do a small, easy film review.

But, the reality is that I don't do this full-time note even close. Instead, I have a full-time day job (or mostly a night job), which means I'm limited in how much time I can devote to photography and YouTube. When something goes wrong, it derails things. Like in this video, nothing major happened, Just a few small mishaps derailing the original film review idea.

That's life for you as a part-time YouTube photographer. At least I got away with a couple of really nice images. It's way better than I expected, It's almost a shame I didn't talk more about them in the video.
