LR3 height sensor replacement | EAS | Land Rover Discovery

Описание к видео LR3 height sensor replacement | EAS | Land Rover Discovery

After discovering a faulty right rear height sensor on my Land Rover Discovery 3, it's now time to replace it with a new one. This is a really simple task for the most part, the biggest issue here is dealing with the old electrical connectors as they are most likely becoming brittle and you risk breaking them (like I did) - and yeah I know my maths is shit as the Disco is only 17 years old not 22 as I made mention in the video. I am clearly up way to late doing the work and editing! I still can't figure out how I added 5 more years onto the Disco's age...

The LR3 has different sensors for each corner, part numbers are as follows:
LH front: LR020155
RH front: LR020157
LH Rear: LR020159
RH Rear: LR020161

I mentioned in the video that the D4 has a LH and RH sensor, that was incorrect. They have a different part number for front and rear, not left to right:
D4 Front: LR023646
D4 Rear: LR023648

When replacing the sensors there is a high chance that you will need to recalibrate the height so make sure you have the tools to do that task - details of the recalibration process will be shared in a future episode.
