Ampere's Circuital Law. What is the Need for it? Tips for choosing a closed path & real meaning of current enclosed.

We see that Ampere law states that the line integral of the magnetic field around some closed loop is equal to the permeability of the medium times the algebraic sum of the currents which pass through the loop.
