Comedian Misun Park debuted in the entertainment industry in 1988 by winning the gold medal at MBC's 2nd TV Comedy Contest. After her debut, she broke comedic conventions and gained popularity for her unique, refreshing boldness. Her outstanding performances in ＜SUNDAY SUNDAY NIGHT＞ and ＜YOUTH MARCH＞ gained her the reputation as one of the top female comedians in Korea. Park’s extensive list of accolades includes the 1988 2nd MBC Comedy Contest Gold Prize, 1990 MBC Broadcast Acting Awards Comedy Category Excellence Award, 2000 36th Baeksang Arts Awards Comedy Category Female Grand Prize, 2009 45th Baeksang Arts Awards TV Category Female Entertainment Award, 2009 KBS Entertainment Awards Grand Prize in the Show Entertainment MC category, and the Prime Minister's Commendation at the 11th Korea Popular Culture and Arts Awards in 2020. With her excellent MC skills, she continues to host variety shows, appear on sitcoms, and make content on YouTube as well.
