Hi Suzy and Travis, So we just did "Welcome to the Jungle," and next up is another song you have reacted to before, but hopefully, as you will see from the theme of these three songs, you can look at the song in a different way. As I mentioned in the previous reaction, Axl came to Los Angeles from Indiana, and was completely taken aback at first with the whole LA and Hollywood scene. Where some people refer to LA and Hollywood as a "Concrete jungle," others refer to LA as "Paradise city," thus, the title of the next song we are doing in this trilogy. When Axl screams "Take me down to Paradise City where the grass is green and the girls are pretty," he is talking about what people think LA is: green grass and palm trees, pretty girls, beaches, and all of the things that LA is known for. This is a fun song, but like the previous song, he is talking about wanting to go back to LA. Such a cool song. Bring up the lyrics again if you want, and you can get the theme of the song.
