In today's vlog, we explored a new family restaurant in Patto, Panaji. CITY PRIDE! If you are from Panaji, you must have surely heard about this name and even seen their first restaurant which is located in St. Inez, opp. Vivanta. They are very famous for their fish thali.

They had started in 2002 and I remember visiting this place in 2006 with my office colleagues, making sure we reach there in time and grab our seats and not miss or delay feasting on the fish thali. I am very happy for City Pride (Mr. & Mrs. Amonkar) who have worked very hard to maintain their taste and now they have a bigger place where families can dine in and taste their food.

We tried their Special fish thali - Chonak and it was very tasty, the prawn curry along with drumsticks was packed with flavours and super tasty. All the other side dishes made complete sense to me and went along very well. The size of Chonak was big and it was very fresh and fried to perfection.

We also ordered the Goan style Chilly chicken and it was very delicious, absolutely rustic similar taste you will find in local bars in Ponda. The chicken was cooked to perfection and the garlic, onions, capsicum, and green chilies left us salivating.

The two mocktails SUNSHINE and VIRGIN PINACOLADA were very tasty and refreshing. Sunshine is something we loved and I would recommend trying that.

This restaurant serves other dishes like Crispy chicken, chicken 65, and Paneer chilly and there is a lot to choose from their menu.

They are specialized in Fish so don't forget to try their fish preparations as well.

Their SHRAVAN THALI looked amazing and I saw many guests opting for Shravan thali at City Pride.

We also interacted with some of the people who came to dine in there and got their feedback. Seems like CIty Pride is a tough competition to other restaurants here in Panaji now and all my best wishes to them going ahead! This is just the beginning and I am sure they will end up opening a chain of City Pride restaurants across GOA, serving their flavorful thali and their famous curry!
