Siddhesh Bicholkar | Raag Kedar | Harmonium Solo | Pt. Tulsidas Borkar Legacy

Presenting a beautiful rendition of Raag Kedar by Shri. Siddhesh Bicholkar, senior disciple of Pt. Borkar Guruji.

Shri. Siddhesh Bicholkar is a senior disciple of Borkar Guruji and a renowned Harmonium player and also is known to play the instrument Jal Tarang.
Siddhesh initially received guidance from Shri. Sharad Mathkar in Goa and was further trained by Borkar Guruji.
He has accompanied lot of stalwarts and has received accolades for his melodious yet prompt Sangat on the Harmonium.
He is also taking forward Borkar Guruji's legacy by imparting music lessons at the esteemed Sharda Sangeet Vidyalay, Bandra - Mumbai.

This is a recital of Raag Kedar which was recorded for Guruji's Jayanti Celebration on 18th November 2020.

Raag Kedar is not very often heard on the Harmonium, as it is believed that Harmonium as an instrument has certain some limitations.

But this performance can surely prove that it suits the Harmonium when played this efficiently!
