And how about that, another Ride Chaser level. This one is more traditional, instead of chasing down the boss, it's just going through a level. Each character has their own unique traits here: X has access to charge shots which go farther and are stronger, Zero has a wider range of attack, and Axl has rapid fire. You'll encounter a ship-like miniboss twice in this stage that dispenses enemies at you. Naturally course of action here is to shoot the thing until it explodes. After the second encounter we'll have reached Avalanche Yeti.

Avalanche Yeti is surprising speedy for someone of his size. His first form of attack is shooting ice shards along the ground and up the wall. These can be destroyed. After he's powered up, he'll start using Drift Diamond, where he'll cover himself in ice flakes and charge at you. This does a lot of damage and will freeze you, requiring you to break out or use a Tag Assist to get free. He'll also burrow under the snow and perform a Shoryuken from under you. This also hurts a lot. His Overdrive has him cause snowflakes to rain down from the top of the screen for the rest of the fight. They're large and come down once every 10 seconds or so and can be destroyed. Plus they don't do that much damage overall, either. __
