《燕子》蘇文慶 曲
作曲家蘇文慶於居住舊金山時所創作的樂曲，在移居美國的日子裡常與妻子離別有感而作，經歷這段令人迷失的移民旅程後，二人決定回到自己的故鄉-臺灣；重拾一起生活、一起工作的快樂時光。這首燕子即是為妻子小蘋而寫，如同名民歌中描述「你的性情愉快親切又活潑，你的微笑好像星星在閃爍」。此曲在1998年客席指揮臺北市立國樂團演奏時獻給妻子，作為結婚十三週年的禮物。此曲以二胡獨有溫潤的音色，演奏出如歌般的曲調，是一首優美動聽扣人心弦的二胡協奏曲。
全曲共分六段： A序奏 B如歌慢板 C華彩獨奏樂段 D快板 E中板 F尾聲

Swallow Composed by Su Wen-Cheng
This piece was created by Composer Su Wen-Cheng while he resided in San Francisco. During his sojourn in America, he was often away from his wife. Having experienced this straying journey, both of them decided to return to their homeland, Taiwan, where they regained their life together and their happy times of working side by side. "Swallow" was composed for his wife, Xiaopin. Just like a folk song of the same title describes, "You are delightful, kind and lively. Your smile is like a shining star." This piece was dedicated to his wife as a gift for their thirteenth wedding anniversary when he performed as guest conductor in Taipei Chinese Orchestra. A graceful, ear-pleasing, soul-stirring Erhu concerto, this piece presents a song-like melody with Erhu's unique warm tune. This entire piece consists of six sections: A. introduction, B. Lento e Cantabile, C. Cadenza, D. Allegro, E. Moderato, F. Coda.
