When I battled with anxiety as a teen what was my scariest anxiety symptom? For me it was 'depersonalization' and 'derealization' (DPDR) where I felt that I wasn't in my own body and was disconnected from reality. It was the scariest thing and I couldn't believe it was just anxiety. Surely this was a symptom that I was dying or going mad?

I share my thoughts about my scariest anxiety symptom which I later discovered had this label (DPDR) and I'm making this video so that others who might struggle with this know they are not alone and also have some ways to overcome it.
