Drumstick leaves (Moringa/ Murungai Keerai) are very nutritious greens which add tons of flavor too. Mashinga Pallo are commonly used in Konkani cuisine. I have already uploaded recipes on how to make fritters and spicy dosa. Do check them out. In this recipe, spicy non fermented idlis are made with the addition of the drumstick leaves. These idlis are steamed in banana leaves and they turn out soft and super tasty. Do give this a try and I hope you enjoy them as much as we did. Please leave me a comment if you have any questions.

Ingredients:
Drumstick leaves - one bunch
Sonamasuri rice - 1 1/4 cup
Dry red chilli (Byadgi) - 5-6
Tamarind - small lemon sized
Grated coconut - 1/4 cup
Salt - To taste
Banana leaves or idli moulds - For steaming
