Bomber Raid Game Sample - Sega Master System

Описание к видео Bomber Raid Game Sample - Sega Master System

Original Air Date: December 26th, 2009

Bomber Raid (known as Halley's Comet in arcades) is a simple, but fun old-school shooter. You have a basic weapon that can get upgraded several levels, bombs, speed enhancers, a shield, and options that float around your ship and give you additional firepower. The idea of the game is to destroy as many enemies as possible, not just to rack up a high score, but to protect your planet. Your home planet can get damaged if enemies or comets fly past your part of the screen. It's okay if enemy bullets fly past your part of the screen.

It's a decent old portable shooter.

NOTE: A note about this video...the flickering numbers DO occur on a real Game Gear, but it's extremely fast on the actual hardware. When played on the real Master System, you can't really notice the flickering much. However, I guess the emulator(s) can't make super fast flickering. Either that, or there isn't a SMS emulator that had it in mind...Yes, I don't know anything about the technical stuff in emulators, nor do I pretend to know. There may be an emulator that does, but I've only tested the latest Gens+, Meka, and Fusion, and they all act the same (in regards to the flickering).
