This is the 9th in a series of videos geared toward the person who has never worked with 3D models in the Vectric Aspire software before.

In this video, we’ll get into using the Distort Selected Objects tool in Aspire software. First, I’ll show you how I curve a straight 3D model of a molding from the Clipart Library, using Distort Above a Single Curve. We’ll get into the software to adjust the model’s size, create an arc, and distort the model to match that curve.

Then I’ll show you how I used a Bounding Box to distort another 3D model, to modify a plaque to fit a certain shape. We’ll also Bake the models to finalize the distortion in preparation for calculating toolpaths.

The models used in this video are available in the Clipart Library that came with your copy of Vectric Aspire. I know of no other source for these models.
