I didn't want the oil bath air cleaner for my '49 Ford but I didn't want some ugly aftermarket one either. Figured I'd convert it to a paper filter.
edit: I measured and found that if I go with a 4" tall filter it will close the lid completely and not allow any air flow so I'm going to leave it as is. I ordered one of the k&n knockoffs on ebay in black to kind of blend in a bit better
