Over the next few weeks, I'll be posting songs from an album I released on CD in 2016, "A Joy Beyond Measure." This is an album of 14 hymn arrangements composed around the period I served as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

I wrote this arrangement in the Missionary Training Center for a missionary companionship. Zion is simply Christ's church - His followers who make covenants with Him to serve Him and the world. And yes, I repeat that prayer: "Let Zion in her beauty rise."
